Ugreen Postpones HomeAgent Launch for the Second Time

Ugreen appears to be postponing the launch of its Kickstarter campaign for its HomeAgent systems once again. Instead of November 2026, the crowdfunding campaign is now scheduled to begin on April 13, 2027. The first products are expected to ship no earlier than the end of June 2027. The manufacturer announced this in an official statement obtained by matter-smarthome. The information on the manufacturer’s website has not yet been updated; it currently shows the old schedule (link).

The manufacturer had previously pushed back the campaign launch – originally planned for October – to November and lowered the pre-order prices. They now start at $800 for the most affordable model, the HA100, and go up to $9,999 for the MasterAgent MA100.

More Time for Matter and AI Features

Ugreen cites the need for additional development and testing as the reason for the delay. The company aims to further expand and stabilize its ecosystem. The focus is on improving compatibility with Matter and other smart home protocols, expanding AI capabilities, and conducting more extensive testing across its entire product portfolio.

The company also sees room for improvement in multilingual support. In particular, Ugreen aims to enhance the speech recognition capabilities of its digital assistant Uliya, the processing of voice commands, and usability in languages that have so far been supported only to a limited extent. However, the manufacturer has not provided specific details about the planned improvements.

Presale Customers Can Request Refunds

According to the statement, the customer benefits and promotional offers promised to date will remain unchanged. Anyone who wishes to cancel their reservation will be offered a refund. The statement does not provide any information on the process. The company stated upon inquiry that these details will follow with an update to the website in the coming days.

Another Attempt at the Ugreen HomeAgent Launch

Ugreen unveiled its new Home Agent series in September (as reported by matter-smarthome). With this system, the manufacturer – previously known primarily for NAS storage and computer accessories – aims to enter the smart home market. The platform is designed to integrate various devices and protocols and offer AI features for managing the connected home, with a focus on local control and data processing.
